Keri Baughman

Project Coordinator, Protection

Keri joined InterAction as a Project Coordinator for Protection on the Humanitarian Policy and Practice team in September 2018. Keri believes that the humanitarian community can achieve meaningful protection outcomes in every crisis around the world and that Results-Based Protection is the most useful framework we have for doing that.

Prior to joining InterAction, Keri was a Consortium Coordinator in the Central African Republic from 2016-2018, where she coordinated the activities of four international NGOs working across the country, led work planning, and managed reporting to and liaising with the project donor. While completing her M.A. in Development Studies (2014-2016) at the Graduate Institute in Geneva, Keri completed two internships: one in the Sexual and Gender-based Violence Unit with Africa Humanitarian Action in Uganda and one in UNHCR’s Gender Equality Unit in Geneva.

Keri is from a small town in Ohio and currently lives in D.C. with her husband. She enjoys traveling to new places and reads historical fiction novels like it’s her job.
