United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon arrived South Sudan on May 6, 2014 to demand an end to five months conflict. During his visits, Ban Ki-moon meets South Sudan President Salva Kiir and will meet rebel leader Dr. Riek Machar. The Secretary General has repeatedly called on both leaders to find a political solution and put an immediate end to the violence, which has led to suffering of so many innocent civilians. Secretary General also visits the protection of civilians where internal displaced persons are in Tom-ping.
