Program Associate, Protection

Ife joined InterAction as Program Associate for Protection on the Humanitarian Policy and Practice Team in August 2020. In his role, Ife provides support to the Results-Based Protection workstream as well as the wider protection team, including the Gender-Based Violence and Protection Working Group

Ife joined InterAction as Program Associate for Protection on the Humanitarian Policy and Practice Team in August 2020. In his role, Ife provides support to the Results-Based Protection workstream as well as the wider protection team, including the Gender-Based Violence and Protection Working Groups.

Prior to joining InterAction, Ife undertook several internships, including at the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Affairs, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Transparency and Accountability Initiative, the Foundation for Sustainable Development, and the World Bank.

Ife graduated from George Washington University with a B.A. in International Affairs with a focus on Humanitarian Practice and Policy in Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America. Ife is Nigerian-American. In his free time, he enjoys playing and watching football (soccer), watching Netflix, discussing African politics, and being active through outdoor activities.
